New Effects

Lately, because I only have one lens, my 18-55 mm, I've been trying to discover different uses for it.  It started with the macro and now I have a new trick.  The family I live with has been celebrating advent and so every day we girls in the basement also get a gift.  It's just something small, usually candy, but the other day I got this. . .

Now, I was excited about this, partially because I'm five, and partially because I discovered that if I put it up against my camera's lens, it made some pretty interesting pictures. . .

It's not something that I'll use every day, but I think it'll be fun to use every once in a while.  And now, for the heck of it, some more macro shots.
