Scavenger Hunt Sunday

So, I'm back again.  I haven't done SHS in a while, mostly out of laziness.  Hmph.  I decided it was time to get my act together and actually start posting on my blog again.

Here are this week's interpretations.  As usual, I take the prompts more as guidelines than strict rules,  ifyaknowwhaddamean.

Emotion:
I love thunderstorms.  The rolling clouds, the thunder and lightning, the pouring rain and the clear calm afterwards.

From A Flower's Point of View:
Look at me, cheating already.  I know, sad, right?  Oh well.

Natural Frame:
These are a couple of my favorite pictures from this week.  I love the way the driveway and trees frame the shot.

Letters:
This picture was the only one that I took with this challenge specifically in mind.  It didn't turn out at all the way the I had pictured it and I had to post-process the heck out of it to get it at all presentable.  Blurgh.

Bliss:
On Thursday I went shopping in a nearby town with my best friend, her little sister and my little sister.  We went to Forever21 and let me tell you, it was bliss.  Do you see all those beautiful necklaces hung up in the frames (I loved that idea)?  None of them cost above $8.00 and most of them cost less than $4.00.  Happy, happy day.

Procrastination You Say? Never.

Weeeeel, here we are again.  Ahem.  Let's just skip the whole 'sorry I haven't posted in several lifetimes' part and just get on with it.

So, explanation time, I suppose.  Well,  I really don't really have a good excuse.  No shark attacks or meteors from outer space, etc.  Basically, I've been lazy/busy.  When I'm not busy being lazy I'm busy being busy.  If ya know what I mean.  (Now, you're probably asking yourself if I ever speak anything but gibberish and I think the only way to answer that is with some poetry.  'Twas brillig and the slithy toves. . . . Well, you know how it goes.)

Whew, I'm glad that parenthetical aside is over.  I was getting lost in my own brilliance.

Anyway, all that to say:  I don't have a good explanation.  (Sometimes, when I start doing paragraphs like the above, I have to abandon ship and just begin a new paragraph altogether.  Heck, sometimes I start a whole new blog post.)

So, here, have some pictures to make up for my mindless babbling. . .

It's summer here.  It's been summer since I got home from school, really.

Blackberry blossoms.

Jubilee at church being cute.

I found a ladybug, ladybird, whatever.  I love them for their photogenicness.

Baby tree.

Crown Vetch.

This is probably my favorite picture from that photoshoot.  Queen Anne's Lace.

Any comments would definitely be appreciated.  Babbles or no babbles?

Signing off 'til the next century.

Justin and Laura and Baby Makes Three

I think the following pictures will be presented without comment as I'm super tired and I think that I have pink eye.  Again.
