Today after church, two families came over for lunch with our boarder family (in case anyone doesn't is confused by this, I live with three other college girls in what is basically an apartment in the basement of a family I go to church with) and one of the other families brought their two boarders who are in my roommates' class so it was all very fun. I didn't get any pictures of lunch, but it was amazing. Ribs, chicken, and hot dogs with an amazing salad, baked potatoes, homemade rolls with honey butter, baked beans and oreo cheesecake to finish. Then all of the girls retreated downstairs and did, well, all sorts of exciting stuff.

these pretty tissue paper flowers.
Which should probably not be worn as hats.
And there was hand painting too. Also flowers.
One of my roommates painting Lydia's hand.
Lydia
Bea, the only girl in a family of six boys.
Monica and her chubby baby hands.
Happiness.
We also made hair barrettes. Also flowers. Basically, there were a lot of flowers. A friend came over later and showed how to crochet flowers out of ribbon, but I didn't manage to get a picture before the light went.
I hope your Sabbath was as restful and full as mine.
Sara out.
